First, the honest part — the shoe you see in our photos and ads is our [ prototype ]. The final shoe will look just like it, but a few small details may change before the first batch. We’d rather tell you that now than surprise you later.
Why we’re building this
Good sneakers in India usually mean two things, a big global price tag, or a basic design that doesn’t make you feel anything. We think there should be a third option, a timeless retro sneaker that works with every outfit and doesn’t cost ₹7,000+.
The arrow
The arrow on the side of Blakwave moon-star is our signature. It stands for moving forward, for the wave, and for always having a direction. You’ll see it on every Blakwave shoe we make.
What Blakwave will have
– A clean, retro-minimal shape that goes with jeans, cargos, shorts or anything else
– A padded tongue and collar for everyday comfort
– A reinforced toe panel, so the shoe holds up to daily wear
– A gum rubber outsole, the classic retro look with good grip
– Cotton laces
-Materials– Microfiber suede upper, synthetic leather arrow inlay, EVA midsole, gum rubber outsole, breathable mesh lining and a padded insole. Final materials will be confirmed with our factory, and we’ll update this page if anything changes.
