How did this start?

Blakwave is an Indian sportswear brand founded in 2025 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, by Yuvraj.

The idea for Blakwave took shape during college, when the founder joined a sports academy and spent time with people deeply involved in daily sports and training. One observation stood out clearly -almost no were using Indian sports brands. When asked why, the answer was simple and consistent: Indian brands lacked reliable quality and performance. At the same time, it became clear that people were willing to pay for quality, as long as the product genuinely delivered.

This realization laid the foundation for Blackwave.

Blakwave began its journey with shoe. The founder immediately started working on a unique shoe design, exploring multiple concepts and iterations over nearly nine months. After extensive refinement, a final design was selected and legally trademarked. This trademarked design continues to define Blakwave’s identity and sets it apart from other brands.

Blakwave follows a simple philosophy: quality over quantity. Every product is designed through the lens of functionality, with comfort, durability, and performance guiding every decision.

Alongside shoe development, Blakwave introduced a clothing line to better understand the market and gather real customer feedback.

Today, Blakwave is in its early stage, actively developing its first shoe prototype and preparing for real-world testing and validation. This journey is not about perfection - it is about building with intent and progressing the right way.
